I’m Cali, founder of Bello Lane, and I started this journey with a simple love for beautiful, meaningful pieces that make a house feel like home. After twenty years in the printing industry, I sold that business and opened our small decor and furniture accessory store. It was so exhilarating to curate new and vintage decor and furnishings that told a story. Over time, though, I felt pulled toward a bigger purpose—helping designers and decorators like you bring your clients’ visions to life, free from the hurdles that get in the way.

This shift in direction happened when my daughter, newly accredited in interior design, began working for an e-design platform. What should have been an exciting step turned into a frustrating experience. The platform’s demands and commission structure squeezed the joy out of the work she loved, leaving her drained and overwhelmed. Watching her struggle to balance creativity with the platform’s pressure was eye-opening, and compounding that with the fact that small design and decorating businesses have limited ability, if any, to make a profit on pieces they source directly from a manufacturer or distributor, I knew could provide a bridge to the resources she needed to make better profits. And wanted to do the same for others who were fighting the same battles.

I began having conversations with manufacturers and distributors to understand their pricing tiers and the reasons behind them and exploring the avenues open to the interior design industry that don’t operate large showrooms. I heard the same frustrations again and again: limited access to quality vendors because of high financial barriers and the constant struggle competing with online retailers.
So, I transformed Bello Lane from a retail store into a procurement agency dedicated to serving you—the creators, the dreamers, the ones who make spaces come alive. Today, Bello Lane holds accounts with serval top manufacturers and distributors, giving you access to the products you love without the worries of meeting or maintaining any vendor account requirements.
