Storage & Fulfillment

Keep projects and resale inventory organized, visible, and connected to the order and customer it belongs to.

Flexible Furniture Storage and Fulfillment for Trade Professionals

Bello Lane provides storage and fulfillment support for furniture purchased through Bello Lane.
Designed for trade professionals and boutique retailers who need more than a place to hold product, our service creates an organized path from purchasing through storage, inventory management, order preparation, and final delivery.
Whether you are coordinating an interior design project, purchasing inventory for future use, or storing furniture for resale,  Bello Lane helps manage the product after it has been purchased and before it reaches the project site or customer.

Short-Term Storage for Projects

Furniture projects rarely arrive all at once. Bello Lane offers short-term storage for interior designers, decorators, builders, and furnishing professionals who purchase through Bello Lane and need product received, organized, and held until the project is ready.
This allows clients to coordinate product arrivals, manage backordered items, wait for construction timelines, and prepare for a more complete final delivery or installation.

Private Product Viewing Appointments

Designers may schedule a private appointment to view furnishings after they have arrived at the Bello Lane warehouse. Designers may also bring their clients to see a purchased item in person before it is released for final delivery.

By request, Bello Lane will pull the selected item from storage, unwrap and prepare it in a designated viewing area, and then rewrap and return it to storage following the appointment. This provides an opportunity to review the item’s scale, finish, comfort, or other details before delivery to the project site.

Private viewings are available by appointment for merchandise purchased through Bello Lane. Preparation and handling fees apply.

An Alternative to Returning an Item

If a designer or their client decides that a purchased item is no longer right for the project, returning it to the manufacturer may involve return freight, restocking fees, and other vendor requirements. As an alternative, eligible merchandise may be offered for sale to another approved designer or retailer through the private Bello Lane Client Marketplace.

An item that has remained at the Bello Lane warehouse and has never been delivered or installed may be listed as new, never installed, and offered at its original purchase price or another price selected by the seller. The listing will disclose whether the item was opened for inspection or presented during a private viewing appointment.

Items that have been delivered, installed, or placed in a home may still be considered for the Marketplace after they are returned to the Bello Lane warehouse and inspected. These items will be identified as previously installed, with their condition and the approximate length of time they were in a home disclosed in the listing. Return transportation, receiving, inspection, handling, and applicable storage fees will apply.

Marketplace placement and sale are not guaranteed, and the original purchaser remains responsible for the item and any continuing storage charges until it is sold, or otherwise removed from the warehouse.

Long-Term Storage for Inventory Purchased Through Bello Lane

For clients who purchase furniture through Bello Lane for future projects, resale, or ongoing business needs, we offer long-term storage options for eligible inventory.
This allows clients to take advantage of purchasing opportunities, buy strategically, and hold inventory until it is needed — without managing their own warehouse space or staff.

Long-term storage can support:
   Future project inventory
   Frequently specified products
   Bulk purchasing opportunities
   Reserved product for upcoming work
   Customer orders awaiting delivery
Inventory purchased for resale or fulfillment

Because this service is connected to Bello Lane’s purchasing and fulfillment process, stored inventory remains tied to the order, vendor, client, project, and delivery plan.

Inventory Warehousing for Boutique Furniture Businesses

For boutique retailers that purchase through Bello Lane, we function as an integrated furniture 3PL: receiving, inspecting, storing, organizing, and preparing inventory for delivery to their customers.
This service allows boutique furniture retailers to offer and carry inventory without operating their own warehouse, hiring warehouse staff, or managing every delivery detail internally.
Bello Lane can support boutique retailers, small furniture businesses, builders with furnishing packages, and other trade-based businesses that need product held and delivered when the customer is ready.

Inventory warehousing can help support:
   Bulk furniture purchasing
   Stored resale inventory
   Customer delivery coordination
Product organization by order or customer
   White-glove delivery preparation

This allows small businesses to grow their furniture offering with stronger operational support behind the scenes.

Organized Inventory Visibility

Through the Bello Lane Client Portal, clients can stay connected to the items they have purchased or stored through Bello Lane.
Inventory can be organized by client, project, order, or fulfillment need, helping clients understand what is on hand, what is waiting for delivery, and what still needs attention.
This supports better planning, clearer communication, and a more professional experience for both our clients and their customers.
